I need a sweet red thick wine that will go with a turkey dinner that a wine "hater" will love ! I had a wine at friends house and I really don't remember the name of it, but it would be perfect for my wine "hater". I remember it had a bright label with several different bright colors on it and it was delicious !

Hi Julz, and welcome to the Wine Board. Are you sure that winehater doesn't like wine or your food matches? I would not drink a sweet red thick wine with my Thanksgiving Dinner, even though I normally drink a huge Zin with it. If this is just a roasted or smoked turkey without all the TG trimmings, a riesling would go very good with it. If you want sweet, try and Moselle-Saar-Ruwer Riesling Auslese. Maybe you will both be happy.
