I recently tasted a Port for the first time. It was a Portuguese variety (can't recall the name) served at room temperature and it was really quite good. My question is, when is the correct time for serving Ports and is there one you can recommend to this novice wine taster?

One of the best Ports around to teeth on is Fonseca Bin 27. It is widely available and affordable. Whisker's Blake Port from OZ is good as well.

I second both suggestions. And Spidermom, after dinner is common for port drinking, but you can enjoy port whenever it works for you!
