Holiday Gift

I would like to give a nice bottle of wine to each of my bosses for the holidays. First of all, one of them is a wine connoisseur, and enjoys a French Bordeaux or White Burgandie. I was wondering if there's a specific one you can recommend that is preferred, or what to look for when selecting this. And secondly, what type of wine is good to give to the others (I'm not sure what they prefer) and is of the same value? Thanks.

WW your knowledge of reds is un-paralleled.

I just deferred to Foodie and Scoop because they were from the same general area as the originator of this thread. Sorry...... dint mean to squash any toes........ 'Sides I'd rather squash grapes...... squash? Heck, I'd rather just drink the stuff....

Hey, no hype meant here. But if youse from NYC then try Garnets on 68th and Lex (did I spell it rite, foodie? Cuz I have not had the pleasure of visting them yet.....).
