Just found two bottles of Jaboulet-Vercherre chateauneuf-du-Pape (1974) in the back of my liquor cabinet. Any value? Vinegar or ??

If you C-N-D-P was in an air conditioned environment during the whole time, you could have a treasure. If it was typical San Juan climate, your guess is most probably right on.

Technically, a still red is one that is not carbonated. In usage, still red means red table wine, even though technically uncarbonated red dessert wine is a still red wine too.

If I remember correctly, 1974 was a horrid vintage year for most of France.
