I've come across a gift crate of Mouton Cadet. It's a rather nice, hinged wooden box with the Baron's crest on the top containing 2 bottles of Mouton Cadet. A red bordeaux, 1987 and a white bordeaux 1989.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Oh, and also.... do you think they are drinkable??
Thank you!

Hi Kate, and welcome to the Wine Board. Hope you have a good use for the crate. Mouton Cadet is the journeyman offering from Mouton, and has a very short lifespan. The red one just might be drinkable, but I have no hope whatsoever for the white one.

Hi Kate2 and welcome to the board. IKs' close, but don't have a friend over to drink either of these long-gone bottles. WW
