I really dont know much about wines, except that most of the time I like them.
I have just received a small collection of wines & ports from my grandparents which they didnt want at home anymore.
Any information like the rarity, price if sold, taste etc. on these wines would be appreciated.

1985 - Brown Brothers - Vintage Port

1980 - Lindemans - Nyrang Hermitage Wine

1981 - Alice Springs Casino - Port

1981 - Tawny - Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer Wedding Celebration Port

1980 - Yalumba - "Kingston Town" Vintage Port

1979 - Yalumba - "Dulcity" Vintage Port (x 2)

1977 - Seppelt - 100th Anniversary birth of Camille Pedro Seppelt Liquer Port

1973 - HG Browns - Opera House Official opening by Queen Elizabeth II Rhine Riesling

1971 - HG Browns - 200th Anniversay Captain Cook landing at Norfolk Island Bi-Centennial Cabernet Shiraz

1971 - HG Browns - Opera House Opening Cabernet Shiraz (x 2)

Hi 25M4m and welcome to the board. Just taking a wild guess that your grandparents and maybe you are Aussies? Most of these wines and vintages are strangers to me but would venture all are ready for drinking and in the case of a few are past that glorious date. Unfortunately Aussie ports and for that matter ,most of their wines
( With a few exceptions ) are not collectibles and don't have any great residual value on the secondary market. There are some very solid producers on the list so I'll wager you have a nice trove of good drinkers. Good Luck WW

Thanks for the information winoweenie. Well I guess it's time for me to pop a few open then, should be pretty good (hopefully).
