I am totally new to wines...I do know I enjoy the reds the best.
I recently found a bottle of wine at my mother-in-law's house. They never drink wine, and have no idea where it came from.

I wanted to get an idea on its history or how good of a wine it is...is it worth anything before I go and drink it.

All of my other searches have come up empty...so I thought I would try here.

It is a 1985 Fonset Lacour Bordeaux.
I was told by some other novices that it was a good wine, but they really were not sure.

Can anyone help me Please?

E-mail me at
DazzlingDave@attglobal.net

Thank you

Dave

Never heard of it, but sounds as if it's a branded Bordeaux, of which there are squintillions. See if there is a name and an address in small letters underneath the main name, and let us know. In any case, even if it is only a branded Bordeaux, it should be drinkable, although do not expect it to be Dazzling Dave.
