Somehow I have held onto a 1983 Virginia cabernet (Barboursville). How do you guys think this would tast now 21 years later?
It has been stored well.

Great board you have.

Hi Don, and welcome to the Wine Board. Have never had a wine by Barboursville, but have heard from many others I respect, that they are one of if not the best on the East Coast. So, based on that, would give it a chance. Have something else in reserve, just in case.

Hi Don,

It really depends how it was stored. I've had Barboursville, yet not that far back. It might just be one of their first vintages. That might be worth something to someone.

It's an ok wine. I've had better from Virginia.
