I don't like it for one. I never had anyone spam me. It is frustrating when you want to drop a reply to someone and you have no email address. Two thumbs down!

Yes, I thought that was odd myself.
It is optional, so why not offer it?!

Just noticed this also but my profile still shows my email address. When did this happen? Inquiring minds want to know, albeit a dangerous one!

I'll third Bucko. Difficult to email someone when you can't see their address. Another board uses the same software, though it appears a different version. Emails are sent as private messages through a filter. The sender never sees the email address unless a reply is sent. For instance, I could send Bucko an email message through the Private Messenger to the address in his profile (which I can't see) and if he replies, then I can see his address. Can that be made available here?

The only place I've notice where the e-mail address's show up is on the moderator forum at the top. Also, for those who have web pages, occasionally there is an e-mail link.

Not sure if that's what you're referring to or not. My e-mail has never shown up on my profile since day 1.

My other question would be why can't we put live links into our posts? Has it always been that we must cut and paste? I don't remember.
It would be nice to be able to just click on a posted link to see the mentioned sight-- particularly for our more "challenged" members...

Jackie,
Not sure if you flipped a "switch" or I just figured it out (got lucky) as it looks like I have a placed a successful link on the board.
Thanks!
Also,
Good luck with your surgery-- my thoughts are with you,
Kat
