Get blank page when I do a search

Is anyone else getting this? I tried searching both St. Supery and ended up getting a blank screen. Thinking this might be indicative of no matches found, I tried searching for Caymus--which is obviously represented here--and ended up with the same result.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

It seems to work for me only if I choose a thread, not if I choose to search all forums, (then I get a window that says "this page is empty").

Oops... Seems like there is a problem with searching all forums. I've updated the index, thinking it was corrupted for some reason. But there is still a problem.

Give me a little time to dig into this. Meanwhile, searching on individual forums does work.

I'll get back with more info... Thanks for letting me know.

It looks like I am going to have to shut down the board for a few hours, upgrade the software and re-index everything.

We are planning to move this site to a new server (again) this month. The new server should be faster. I think it would be best to combine these two upgrades, so we only close the board one time (instead of two).

I plan to post a notice a few days before the move. You probably won't notice the shut down, since I plan to do it at night.

I hope this will take care of the search feature. I may also put some of our older postings (like Jan-Dec 1999) in an "archive" folder to speed up searches for newer postings. The archives will be separately searchable.

That's the plan, at least. I'll keep you advised....

We are now on a new server and the "search" function has been fixed. It seems this is also going to be much faster.

So far no glitches in the move to the new server. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
