Email notification

My last two posts I checked email notification if someone replies like I always do, but don't get them. Is anyone else having trouble with this??

No, not email each other. My problem is that I don't get email notification when anyone replies to my topics. You know, that box you check that enables email notification to the topics you start?

We all have it. It's only on the topics you start. Not the ones you reply to.

As far as I can see, the system is sending the message.

Nope. Still not getting any and I use Outlook, not web based email, so there is no way it could be filtered. I wonder if Bucko is still out too?

Well, maybe foodie is right and it has something to do with a windows update. I just can't figure it out, but am about to google it until I find an answer. I'm also not getting my notifications from The WS board. They still make it from eBob though. Very strange.

GAD, I'm having the same problems, with multiple boards that I participate in. I think someone suggested it could be from the recent XP update. I don't get how the two would be connected, but I did notice that it has been since I updated my XP.

I don't get it. Very frustrating though. Let us know if you get it figured out!

P.S. Is this one operated by EZBoard? That's what my others are operated by, and the notifications are not getting to me.

Those of you who are not getting mail notices when someone replies to your topic, are you receiving your mail through AOL? Or some other ISP. If AOL, I would like to do a test with you.

No, I have Comcast and do not use web based email. I also have spam filtering turned off. the Wine Spectator board email notification is also not getting through. The Robert Parker board emails do come through though. Neither are EZboard.

Jackie, I have AOHell and AT&T. Neither receives a reply from the board.
