distributor effectiveness

A brief introduction- I have worked in distributor sales, management and supervision in the Chicago area for twenty years. For an academic project I am working on, I am looking for first tier entities- producers, importers/marketers, brokers-who would be willing to provide information- anonymous, nonspecific- on relations with small distributors. Research is on effectiveness criteria, good and bad experiences, how you judge the effectiveness of a distributor. Any observations appreciated, can respond to my e-mail address: grancaisse@aol.com .
