Wine of the Month Clubs

I'm looking to get a gift membership to a wine of the month club for my parents. They are wine drinkers, but I,m really not. I've been looking and there are just so many to choose from, how can I know which ones are good and which ones are ripping me off by sending me crap wine. I would appreciate any suggestions of good international wine of the month clubs.

I know of no international clubs due to restrictions. Also, if they live in NY, it will be a problem because most clubs/wineries will not ship to NY due to unfriendly laws.

I think, but am not sure that New York merchants can ship within state, unlike Texans who can't. You might check with some of the major NYC retailers to see if they have a club or can arrange such a monthly shipment. Try Is-Wine, Garnet, Crossroads, and/or Pops.
