I couldn't believe it!

Saw an ad in the paper this morning by what has been a rip-off retailer that included Tommasi Pinot Grigio for $8.89. This is a first-rate PG that I usually pay $11.99 for, and have paid even more. Stopped by there at mid-day and asked for a case, and was handed only six bottles. Disappointed, I asked for a rain-check; the clerk said, "No need, sir, that's our new everyday price." "You're kidding!" says I. "No sir, the owner has decided to pare his margins to better compete with the new Costco up the highway. His margin on that one is now $0.50. We'll have more in here tomorrow."
