Hey, I'm an old Okie and I just tried an Okie wine for the sake of my sister who brought it:

NV Tres SueÃ±os, Red Table Wine, Charter Oak Red, Oklahoma, $12. Tasted blind on a trusted wine friend, he thought it might be a Cotes du Rhone, as did I. I certainly would not have picked Oklahoma if I had 100 guesses. The rustic red fruit and tannins were a nice match for BBQ brisket. 85/85.

Yes! I like Tres Suenos wines, too.
My new favorite is the American White Pinot Noir that Tidal School Vineyards produces.

Well, I couldn't give you an exact count, but here's what i know.

Nuyaka Creek has 14 wines currently available and Tidal School has 6. There is a new winery in Natura and they have about half a dozen labels, but I don't know what they have on hand.

At Sparks winery, they are now offering four white table wines, one bluish table wine, five red table wines, and a port.

I guess most Okie wineries average about half a dozen varieties. Here's a page for links to these and other Oklahoma wineries:

Seems like our home state has the handle on growing great varietal grapes, Eh Buckston? They are producing more varities than Beringer. WW

Of course, many of our Oklahoma wines are not your typical varieties. At Nuyaka Creek Winery, you can even try a wine made from Sumac (locally known as shoemake, a much hated pasture pest).
How's that for making lemonade when life hands you lemons?
