Pacific NW recommendations?

Hi all,
A friend and coworker of mine at Trio is going to be traveling in the Pacific NW next week and would like to visit a winery or two along the way. He is going to be in Seattle, Portland, Vancouver and Olympia. Could anyone recommend a winery or a wine-growing area that is reasonably close to any of his stops on the trip? He will be driving.
