If I plan a trip with the family to the Yakima area and visit a few wineries are there any must see spots? I would only have a day and a half to visit...darn work gets in the way of the best things.

Sorry I missed this message. A few don't miss wineries for me are Chinook, Wineglass, Kestrel and Sandidge. Many are pretty mediocre IMHO, but none are a horrid experience.

thank you for the advice. I found out there is a spring wine barrel tasting at many of the wineries in the area. Chinook will not be open until the following weekend so I am torn as to when to go. I think the barrel tasting will be a great time at the end of April. Thanks.
