The end of June I will be heading to Antibes for my honeymoon and was wandering if anyone knew of any Chateau that might be open for touring and tasting?

Any web sites, magazines or other resources that have similar information about the South of France would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Klecko

The Vins de Provence though delightful, don't have a house that stands out, and if I'm wrong we'll hear about it quickly. You are not too far from the Luberon which is talked about in the posting below. Our colleague Scoop would probably recommend that you cancel out on Antibes, and go there.

Another option is to head east to the Piedmont region of Italy. Many significant houses there. When I was in the same region (Cannes) as Antibes in the summer of '60, made wine trips to both the Piedmont and to the Cotes Du Rhone regions. Incidentally we could pick up a corked bottle of decent red Cotes Du Provence for $.15 or less than 1 NF in those days.
