Question for Wondersofwine or....

anyone who has any experiance in the Yadkin Valley.

Karen's school is out next week for their fall break, so we are going to take a trip up to the Yadkin Valley next weekend. I was wanting to know if you had any sugestions.

I was looking at visiting Shelton Vinyards, Hanover, or I think the other winery is Windy Gap.

Shelton is the only one I'm familiar with. They have some decent wines. I was impressed with their Riesling recently. It was probably just off-dry--not much residual sugar--and may have been their first bottling ot the Riesling.
