Cross Country Sprint

The first week in May, I'm headed to Oregon to judge in a Northwest wine competition and plan to head up to Washington for a few days and visit Yakima area wineries afterwards. I'm familiar with major players, but wonder if there's somebody new(or just not well-known) whose wines I shouldn't miss?

Will be flying in and out of Portland... info about don't-miss restaurants and wine stores is also appreciated. I liked Liner & Elsen and Great Wine Buys on a previous visit.

Also, I'll be briefly in Sarasota, Florida, just before the Oregon trip for the Florida Winefest and Auction. So if anybody out there wants to nominate best wine stores, best restaurants, best wine lists and so forth for Sarasota, please help!
