Hotwine, if you're there:

I found a 1994 larousse hardcover in "good" condition for 4 bucks on half.com....should i get it or does it pay to get a later, more updated version? (assuming you'd know the difference between the two...) As my dad always says, "you get what you pay for," and i don't want to get ripped off. I already posted a question to the seller (whose rating is stellar) as to why he/she's selling the book so cheaply. still waiting for response on that.

i'd rather spend 4-25 bucks for a used one, than 40.

cheers and thanks,
brett

The 1994 edition is the one I'm using. Looks like the latest is Oct 2001, going for $31.XX on Amazon, plus shipping. The '94 should do just fine.
