A family treasure - 1967 chateaux d'yquem. The label is slightly torn and bottle has a sediment (crystals?) build up.

How much would such a bottle sell for?, I have been told $1000 - 1500. I know that the chateau and the vintage are very good, a really exciting/fascinating bottle.

How has this family treasure been stored? The province of all older wines determine their value. Hopefully this bottle has been kept in a cool , dark, damp place. If so, my suggestion is to gather your most-loved friends, prepare a marvelous meal, open a beautiful claret, and ceremoniously open that sucker and drink it! Cheers. Winoweenie
