1943 Vintage

Hi Winehunter and welcome to the board. 43 wasn't a great vintage in Bordeaaux so the pickings are fairly slim. You mite try someone like 20/20 wine merchants in L.A. Their e-mail is sales@2020wines.com. Good luck. You mite also look at some of the auction houses. WW

1943 is my birth year, also. I checked a few years back to see if there was anything out there worth trying from that vintage. As ww says, it was a very bad year for wines. Bordeaux are about the only wines with half a chance to make this long from 1943, but I wouldn't want to drink any that might dtill be around.
