Most Mead seen recently is made with other than the authentic ingredient, honey. For old fashioned honey based Mead, contact the Weston Vinyards Winery, Weston, MO 64098; tel: 816-386-5200 or 816-640-5728. They ship with McCormick's Distillery (also of Weston), so you just might be able to get it in Florida.

"Ambrosia", Mead by Kristy is a true honey Mead, as is Sky River Mead, which makes a Dry, Med-Dry and a Sweet. also the labels on the Sky are really beautiful to boot. Both are from Washington State. K
