I have a 1979 Grande Reserve Chateauneut-du-Pape. Any ideas on how to get a value on it?

Are you looking for a formal appraisal?

You might want to look at the article we have online about wines appraisals at Christie's. See http://www.wines.com/chubb/appraise.html

Maybe someone else has a suggestion too?

Drink up, my friend.
Our fellow BB member, Tom Stevenson, lists '79 as a 78 rating in Southern Rhone.
Don't waste any dimes calling Christie's,
just get out the glasses (quickly).
