i was given a bottle of wine in 1998 while in argentina. i would like to have some information as i am no connoisseur, not even close! the wine is from "BODEGA NORTON", THE LABEL HAS "PERDRIEL" ON THE FRONT THEN IN SMALL LETTERS AT THE BOTTOM "del centenario" (which i believe is centennial or 100 year celebration). the back of the label says "vino fino tinto de guarda" which should mean a fine red wine of something. at the bottom of the back of the label it says "Edicion 101- No. 00508.
is this wine to drink now or a wine that should be kept and for how long. it looks as though it was bottled in 1994.
any help about this bottle would be appreciated. it was presented to us by some dear friends from buenes aires while we were there. it came in a beautiful wodd box with the word "Perdriel" painted on the top.
thanks for your help.

Perdriel is the appellation. Check this site for more info on Bodega Norton wines & history:

I only find $7 versions of B. Norton on
www.wine-searcher.com, so my guess is DRINK NOW. Cheers, cp
