I have the following wines in my collection and would like to know their drinkability and worth. Are any of them worth sending to auction because of their collectibility, or should I just enjoy them ?
1. Hospices de Beaune, Thorin. '85
2. Chateau Trotenoy, Pomerol. '62
3. Domaine de Fontsainte, Corbieres '85
4. Louis Martini, Private Reserve Mtn. Zinfandel '63
5. Souverain Cabernet '69
I also have three bottles - a sauternes, a burgundy select and a claret select from a long extinct Bay Area Winery -Paul Rhodes, which used to be in Hayward California, until replaced by a freeway overpass in the late 60s. All are 1965 and a cab which I recently opened was outstanding ! Obviously these would only have collector value and so far I have been unable to locate any of the family members.

Hi GB2500 and welcome to the board. Unless you have multiple bottles of the wines you listed the real value is in the drinking. All except the Trotanoy are extremely iffy. My suggestion is to get a few friends who are into wine over and have an exploration opening. Could be a blast or bust. WW
