I have a 1948 Hunter Valley Dry Red from the Rothbury Estate. It is a commerorative issue for the 1948 Cricket Team and has Ian Johnstone (Aussie Captain) on the label. The bottle number is D2813

It might be worth something to a collector as an oddity because of the bottle. I couldn't really say what that worth might be, though. To me it's not worth anything because I don't have any interest in that sort of thing. The wine is another story. I'd wager it's worth nothing.

Hi Mark and welcome to the board. Most commerorative bottlings are lesser wines that are meant to be drunk on issue. I have no personal knowledge of this bottling. WW
