First really nice wine we've had in some time. Excellent with rare roast lamb, basted with coffee and cream. Smooth as silk, and with perfect leather and lavendar notes, too.
From Provence, a Kermit Lynch import.

80% de Mourvèdre
15% de Grenache
5% de Cinsault
14% abv

Love them kinds of wines. Just for future reference w-w, Provance is in the South of France and there is a category for it. Have been lobbying for years to get a category for everything, and so far South America is the biggest out category.

Thanks, IK. I was so happy to have opened a nice bottle of wine for a change, I carelessly posted in the wrong place!

Don't worry about it all. We know you are still learning your way around. And that is one of our favorite kinds of wine. Lot's of good stuff in the region.

We had a local distributor when we lived in Maine that specialized in the South of France, and stocked the local stores with them. Unfortunately have not found a similar source around here. If you go way back on that tread you can see some of our posts on the subject.
