Alexander Valley.
81% Merlot and 19% Cab Franc

Intense, mouthfilling, full bodied merlot blend. Not a fruit bomb but a well balanced wine that highlights the purity of fruit. The wine shows dark berry flavors with hints of raspberry, blackberry, mineral, earth and dark chocolate with a persistant finish that shows a little heat, which I think will integrate with a little bottle age. 14.3% Alc/vol. $12 and bought 2 cases.
Oh and BTW, the first bottle I sampled over 3 days and it got better every day!
