This Chilean blend of 43% Merlot, 36% Cab, and 21% Carmenere was not very exciting. The big problem was the vegetal, bell pepper element that I find often in lower-price Chilean Cabs and Cab blends. Over a couple nights it blew off a bit, revealing some fruit, but not enough to coax us back for more. Alc. 14.5%. Paid about $10 locally. Too much better stuff out there at that price point.
