2005 Montinore Estate, Willamette Valley, Pinot Gris ($12.99 New Hampshire Liq Store). Alcohol level: 13.5%. Gives you both citrus and stone fruit on the nose and upfront. In the middle it is crisp and dry with herbal overtones, and some minerality in the complexity. The finish is lovely.

Matched it with boneless, skinless chicken breasts marinated in seasoned lime juice and EVOO, and grilled over hot charcoal with peach chips; accompanied by brown Basmati rice, and Italian green beans.
