If you are in the Yakima area, be sure to stop in at the Eaton Hill Cellars winery in Granger Washington. They have some very nice standard wines, Reislings, Chardonays, etc.
But......They produce a magnificent Malvasia d'Oro. Made from greek malvasia grapes, it is a rich golden dessert wine, more like a Tawny port or a sherry than a simple wine. I has a softly apricot taste, and leaves a warm glow in your stomach, May be Eaton Hills has re-discovered the "Nectar of the Gods"
