A blend of 40% Syrah, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon and 29% Cabernet Franc.

Really nice blend showing blackberry, deep currant flavors and spice. Somewhat rustic, the wine shows a little heat from midpalate through the linguring finish where the medium grained tannins kick in. Nice wine and I'll be buying more. 14.1%Alc/vol. $16

I tried the '03 by the glass at a restaurant when we visited Walla Walla this summer. The blend has changed -- now it's Cab, Syrah, Merlot, and Grenache. I remember good berry fruits wrapped in some tannins, and it had a pronounced acidic streak.
