According to the sources with whom I checked, things look ok for this winter in the vineyard. The vines had enough time to harden off slowly and they seem to have endured the two weeks of arctic temps with no greater losses than in a normal winter--which these winters seem to be becoming...argh!

Glad to hear an optimistic report, Foodie. Now that North Carolina has eased its wine "import" laws, I may be able to order from some of the Finger Lakes wineries if they are willing to ship.
