Pop's Wine in Long Island has their 1995 Mythology Meritage in stock at $35.00 per bottle. You can find them in the internet at www.popswine.com. They deliver to NYC.

As for rating Pindar, I can't help you. Their wines have never crossed my palette. However, if Innkeeper reads your post he may be able to help.

Wine Spectator has the following to say about the 1995 Pindar Mythology - they gave it 83 points during their tasting in June 1999:
Smooth and balanced, this big Cabernet blend has good weight and concentration, but the flavors range from earth to toast to mushroom without much fruit, and the tannins turn a bit dry on the finish. Drink now through 2003. (1080 cases produced)

My handy source, Larousse Encyclopedia of Wine, has nice things to say about Pindar in general and their Mythology specifically. They say the wine is impressive and it has gain international acclaim for Pindar.

Hope this helps a bit.

Having tasted Pindar wines, I agree with Dutton, but I do not think Mytholgoy is worth $35.00.

Then again, unless a wine is truly special, $35.00 a bottle is hard sell to me. I can come up with scores of less expensive wines every bit as good as the Mythology I tasted.

Marcepan--

I agree with Foodie (once in a while)on this one--it is a good sparkler, but at $35 it is a bit pricey.

You should jump on the Long Island Expressway and head out to the winery which is located on the Northfork on Route 25 and taste the wines there--then you can develop your own opinion.

While you are there (in wine country) there are several other wineries that you should visit--Palmer, Bedell, Lenz, Gristina to name a few.
