2002 Brotherhood ("America's Oldest Winery", Washington, NY), New York, Seyval Blanc ($9.99). Alcohol 12%. Nice fresh wine with crisp acidity, and a distant hint of oak. It finished with finesse. Matched it with sauteed chicken breasts in cream sauce, and picked this one tonight because the vendor warned me of oak. The warning was to no avail, and the wine did not quite hold up to the dish. I would recommend it for a summer quaffer, or with lighter dishes, especially fish.
