2003 Shelton Riesling, Yadkin Valley, NC

Pale gold color. Nose about halfway between pears and nectarines. Some pear and some lemon on the palate. Nice finish. Some hint of sweetness in the taste but also exhibits some backbone. Quite sippable or even gulpable. To date my favorite wine from Shelton or any North Carolina winery although I haven't tried the full lineup.
