2000 Chiroubles (Domaine Desmures)

From Duboeuf. Pulled this off a bottom shelf in the cellar a few days ago and tried as a sipper with cheese and crackers. Surprise, still very nice! Good fruit and color, no sediment.... a very healthy cru Beaujolais. Will try some of the others in the next few weeks... spotted some '97 Moulin-A-Vent, '98 Regnie, and others from '00.

Morgon and Moulin-à-Vent wines have very good ageability.
