Anyone had this? Picked up a bottle of this last night to have on the 17th at my parents's for X-mas. Just wondering if will be a good wine, or if it may be past it's prime? I'm not sure how long Beaujolais' are good for.. TIA.

based on my rather limited experience with wines made from this grape, i'd say you should be fine. assuming it's not a beaujolais *nouveau*, this bottling is probably at its peak right now and would be a nice sipper or pair well with lighter cheeses or chicken. if it's a nouveau, it's almost surely on the downslide already. its best to drink nouveaus within six months of release. and i've found beaujolais to taste best served a little cooler than room temperature. i'd put the bottle in the fridge for 30-60 minutes or so before opening.
