I opened this up and thought that I had a Pinot Noir.

Color was crimson red but dark. Really nice, aromatic nose. On first taste, it was a bit sexy in a bugundy kind of way but moved to being a very brooding dark fruit, plummy, chocolatey wine. The only thing I did not like about this was that it appear not very balanced as the hotmess came on late and came on strong. Definitely would be great with a roast chicken/pork meal and would hold its own with something a bit heavier.

Very interesting at $17 per bottle.
