My aunt was cleaning out her cabinets and somehow came up with a bottle of 1979 Mondavi Chenin Blanc !! The fill is ridiculously low, at least 1 1/2 inches below the foil. I'm assuming that this one is way, way over the hill, but is there any chance that this is an off-dry Chenin Blanc and might have survived? Anyone have any of Mondavi's CBs in the 70s? Also, I've forgotten what the 79 vintage was like. Any thoughts? Thanks.

79 was a decent vintage largely overlooked because of the hype for the 78. Think there are 3 chances this wine is still good....slim..none...and the Chinamans. WW
