This was ver nice, like a mix between a sherry and maderia, but without some of the heavines, good companying acidity, slighty nutt, slightly sweet, great balance! Lovely really. If you can find this, I'd strongly suggest trying it.

Have you had Maury or Banyuls, Engineer? I think this is supposed to be in that general category with some fortified element.
