New Orleans got the Hornets and we got Jake Delhomme (now repeat after me Da-lome ).

We got the best end of that deal.

It will be an interesting game--go Panthers!
I was rooting for Kansas City in the AFC, but once they were eliminated I was rooting for Boston (although I like Peyton Manning too). With both Boston and Carolina winning, it was a good weekend. Carolina's strength has been more its defense than offense. We'll see if they can contain Tom Brady and the Brady Bunch! If any of you Boston area fans (KC Whippet? Winedope?) are going to be at the Glenora offline in May we should bet a glass of wine with dinner on the outcome. (Oops, don't want to get in trouble for gambling online). Never mind.

It's not Boston, it's New England.

Watch out WOW, you are going to get the Maine Gang mad at you. I read where the Philly fans were throwing there beer on the Carolina fans. You may get the Pats fans throwing wine at you.

Naaa, I know they couldn't bring themselves to letting go of any of there wines.

Now, I'm going to McDonalds to get my favorite sandwich, the new Donovan McRibb, made by Carolina Linebacker Greg Favors!

I wonder what wine goes with that sandwich?

It was freezing Sunday and Monday!! I was waiting in a borrowed car for AAA to tow my poor truck home! They finally showed up after 2 hours! It's ok though, I may be able to purchase a Ford Explorer at a reasonable price. And yes, I'm still smiling, cause thats what I do!(try to, anyway) Tom and the boys are gonna kick some Panther butt next week- I hope!! KC- I think that poor Peyton was let down by his receivers also. After beign intercepted twice in the first half he was understandably cautious in the second, and his receivers weren't putting in the extra effort that comes from a really together line. Thanks to all for the thoughts! WD

WD1,

Part of the Colt's receivers' problem was probably a severe case of gunshyness. Whenever the ball came near them, they tended to end up flat on their backsides. After a few shots, they start to look where the footsteps are coming from rather than at where the ball is.
