wine novice

Hey everyone! So glad to be here and that I found this blog. I'm a wine novice, and my fiance is a wino...so I wanted to make the effort to try and learn a little bit more on my own so I don't feel like such a retard! Anyone have any good ideas on where to get started?

Hi PPc and welcome to the board. Go to the FAQ thread. You'll find lots of good info there. Also go back on the novice thread for a year and again there's loads of info to be gained. After you get a basic knowledge, ask specific questions under the appropriate thread and if anyone on the board knows the answer you'll get it scot-quick. WW
