They are about the third team I've developed loyalty towards (started as a Redskins fan and rooted for 49ers after moving to California. Also have a soft spot for two AFC teams that have been down on their luck for some years--the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders.) Panthers COULD be number one seed in NFC if they beat the Giants--bye and home field advantage in playoffs. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Also for U of Nebraska in the Gator Bowl against Clemson. I was tempted to try to go to Jacksonville, FL for the game but couldn't really take the extra time off plus the expense.
