While not my usual musical taste, my wife and I had to host an outing with some of her firm's summer associates.

Despite it being rather campy, sort of a drag show without the gay man, it turned out to be highly entertaining (despite the fact that I'm not altogether sure she knew where she was). The lady is an entertainer, though, and she did quite a few standards and stuff from Broadway.

All in all, an interesting evening. I was forced to drink (using WW's vernacular) sissy whites all night. One wasn't too bad -- Bodegas Aldial Naia Rueda from Spain. Wonderful peachy nose, but dry on the palate. The other, a Semillion/Sav Blanc blend from Australia was just a non-descript white.
