Last night I ordered on-line 3-packs for our four sibs from a certain left coast retailer, that we have previously had good relationships with. They live in Florida, New York, New Hampshire, and Maine, so I didn't expect it to go swimingly. Sure enough I got a call today from them right after they opened today. They said that all could be done except one, and that one was NEW HAMPSHIRE!!! They said they got a letter from our governor saying they could not ship here until they bought a special license. I ask if that included me too!!! They said yes. I stated that I had recently received shipments from a New York retailer and a left coast winery with no problems. They said they still couldn't. Yikes!

IK, Last I heard, that license was free. All they need to do is apply, but they do have to collect tax.

Ah the vagaries of the wine biz. Probably easier to ship pot into the 50 than a box of fermented grapes. WW

Persistance pays. I made them a counter offer earlier in the day, which was not met with much thusiasm. Then later in the day, they called and said they could make it happen. Merry Christmas.
