Hi! I wanted to know Wine from the very basic level. I have just joined the industry and find a lot of scope to know about this amazing drink. Your site is probably the best place to be. It would be great if you could start from the very first step and take it on from there. I will appreciate if the same could be forwarded to my email address Thanx!

Hi Anandbisarya, and welcome to the Wine Board. Don't know how many wine books are available in your country. If you have a store that has a good selection of the "Dummy" series, look for "Wine for Dummies." It is an excellent book for starting at square one.

If you can find one in your area, you should take a course on wine. Books are ok, but there is nothing better than hands-on learning and tasting.
