I read on his web site (www.clive-coates.com - click on the notice board) that he's getting out of the rat race. He doesn't get mentioned much here, but I'm sure there are some of us that use him occasionally as a reference point.

WoW, In his little farewell speech on the Notice Board he mentions that he will be doing the update for publication in probably 2006.
